Let me tell you an interesting piece of event today.
a freaking hornet/wasp (whatever it was) flew to my window, carrying a looooong green worm.
it hovered around the window, before depositing the worm in a mini nest it had built at the top ledge of my window.
i was stunned for words, didn't realised it had already built a clay-like nest there. must have been there for days. (nest was about 3cm in diameter, not too huge i guess)
my mum (yes, my MUM!) took action immediately, closing the window once the hornet flew out, to prevent it from flying back.
out came a knife to break open the nest, with 2 green worms still wriggling inside.
they are probably food for the larva of the wasp/hornet.
she scrapped out the nest and put the pair of worms and the clay-like nest in a plastic bag.
job done. (kudos to my mum)
the unsuspecting hornet/wasp came back to the window looking for its nest.
and it was like 'Where's my nest? Where's my food? Arghhhh!'.
finally, it grew tired of finding it and left dejected.

Well, this has to be the last outing before my school starts on Thursday.
Kidnapper at Northpoint, the only cinema showing it late.
did not know why but only GV shows it currently.
nope, ain't cathay, eng wah or shaw.
JUST GV. -.-
oh ya, pics above are Ryan, Ian, Xing Han and Arron.
at 'Eighteen Chefs' restaurant, with their ultimate slogan - Good People, Great Food.

school's coming so soon.
5 modules i would be taking are:
1) Anatomy and Physiology
2) Health and Wellness
3) Injury Prevention and Management
4) Sports and Exercise Psychology
5) Human Motor Control and Development

sounds kinda fun. i like. :D

okay i know you haven't been yourself lately.
maybe you need a cooling down period.
the responses i get haven't been the most enthusiastic.
or was it the expectations of mine.
just like how a child expects to get a Playstation3 for his birthday, but got a nintendo game boy.
poor child. his big dream dashed just like that.
it was like blowing hot and cold all in a single day.
the way you talk sometimes, drills right into my head.
the 'tsks', the 'no-eye-contacts', these are small details i notice about you, in case you didn't know.
try, i did. maybe it wasn't enough. :(
now that was the cold.
and when you blow hot, i feel much more appreciated and i would wish how time could stop and pause at that moment. knowing the 'cold' would not come.
still, i learnt that one must learn to treasure what one has right now.
with huge expectations, come greater disappointments if things aren't to fall nicely into place.
let's hope things would turn out fine, as it was once before.
