The Big Five-Zero.

Okay, allow me to wrap up this week in a short and sweet post.
Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal was a 'INCREDIBLE' game.
Arshavin scored all 4 goals for arsenal.
shan't say more. =D
life in RP seems to be comparable to a roller-coaster ride.
some days were just pure fun & enjoyment while the others were really dry and mundane.
loved 'science' & 'enterprise' but 'mathematics', 'problem solving' and 'communication practice' were pretty much, a bore.
back to IAN's question.
problem-based learning is about having a problem a day.
and you have to solve it within the day in groups of fives.
at the end of the day, you have to come up with a presentation with your group to show the class your answers.
after all groups have presented, the faciliator reveals the answers at the end of the day.
and there is like, presentations EVERYDAY for 3 years.
most of the work in RP are done in groups instead of individually and there is basically no homework.
feel free to ask more questions if the need arises. (:
having a 'field soccer match' tmr.
Kallangroar FC vs BBDC.
totally short of stamina nowadays due to the always hectic poly life.
8.30am to 3.30pm every single day.
had no chance whatsoever for a workout.
and everytime i head home from school, i would be REALLY jaded.
SO! playing as a striker tmr, one of the rare moments.
cus usually i would play as a left winger. so excited! hehe.
time/place is 5pm at dunearn sec.
okay maybe this post wasn't short and sweet but who gives a damn really.
HAHA.

as the title says, the picture above says it all.
and the thing is, it actually happened right below my house.
how dumb can one actually be, i wonder.
and i'm still trying to get used to RP's learning style.
if you do not already know, RP uses a method called 'Problem-Based Learning' (PBL) for all of its students.

RP's orientation programme was a enjoyable experience.
held from the 15th to the 17th.
my school, which is the School of Sports, Health and Leisure (SHL), got 2nd for the Principal's Cup challenge.
School of Applied Science had the honour of coming in in 1st place while School of Hospitality held 3rd place.
other schools with no placing were School of Engineering, School of Technology for the Arts, Centre for Culture & Communication, School of Information and Communications Technology.
for those who don't know, my course's the Diploma in Sports & Exercise Sciences.
only RP has this course by the way, out of all the polys in singapore.
so if you're interested in this course, come to RP! (:
SHL! ah-woo!
SHL! ah-woo!
SHL! AH-WOO! AH-WOO! AH-WOO!
*loud cheers & applause*
P.S. school's starting officially on monday.

praises just aren't enough for arsenal's captain cesc fabregas.
a delightful perfectly weighted chip-pass for adebayor to chest and execute the bicycle kick.
it was really, breathtaking.
credits to both of these players. (:
match ended 1-1 with a crucial away goal, definitely beneficial for arsenal.
had those regular badminton sessions over the past several days.
with people like arron, clement, xinghan, ian, linus, joshua.
with mildred and cuitian also sporting enough for one badminton session.
you people deserve a mention on my blog since you guys were enthusiastic enough to attend.
ok whatever, LOL.
just recently, smoking has caused a revolution amongst my clique of friends.
compare it with the Russian Revolution except that you minus the sufferings and deaths of those poor people. (if there ever is)
SMOKING, tsk tsk tsk.
GET THE LOWDOWN ON SMOK

definintion:- Smoking is a practice where a substance, most commonly tobacco, is burned and the smoke tasted or inhaled.
1) Smoking is a hard habit to break because tobacco contains nicotine, which is highly addictive. Like heroin or other addictive drugs, the body and mind quickly become so used to the nicotine in cigarettes that a person needs to have it just to feel normal.
So, ONCE YOU START, IT'S HARD TO STOP.
2)People start smoking for a variety of different reasons. Some think it looks cool. Others start because their family members or friends smoke. Most adults who started smoking in their teens never expected to become addicted. That's why people say it's just so much easier to not start smoking at all. <-- keyphrase.
3) -Temporary Effects: Wrinkles and Yellow Teeth, Lost Bone Density(Osteoporosis) , Affected Lung Power, Fertility Problems, Bad Skin, Bad Breath, Bad Smelling Hair & Clothes, Reduced Athletic Performance, Greater Risk Of Injury & Slower Healing Time, Weaker Immune System.
( if you do ever smoke, why not check if you have these problems?)
-Permanent Effects: Heart Disease, Stroke, Emphysema, Lung Cancer, Throat Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Bladder Cancer.
to all the smoker friends i have, i hope you all die of the mentioned diseases above.
and one more thing,
screw you allllll.
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
P.S. - I made the part up on the russian revolution as i have absolutely no idea on what it is. :x
P.S.S - All claims are backed up by this --> http://kidshealth.org/teen/drug_alcohol/tobacco/smoking.html
i hope this post deters you all from ever lighting up again.
thank you very much and have a great day ahead.

Seemingly Promising.

yesterday's party wasn't the most enjoyable experience.
reason was the lack of activities we could entertain ourselves with.
maybe we should just stick to the conventional soccer gatherings, alright friend?
that'd be great man.
arsenal beat manchester city 2-0 just last night.
and starhub's channel 27 couldn't air the first half of the match yesterday ''due to reasons beyond their control''.
like what the heck? we paid so much money a month just to get this kinda ''service''.
it's not even the first time this problem arised.
i could view the first half on sopcast so why not on tv?
crappers.
and cesc fabregas made his much-awaited comeback from a 3month-layoff with 2 assists.
how great is that? you guys can clearly see the impact he made once he's back in the scene with arsenal.
and i still carry no intention to do a revamp on my blog's background even though it's damn plain.
call me lazy and i wouldn't care less.
