Marred.

harlo.
a couple of things i wanna update about.

1) Singapore 2-1 Jordan.
was at the national stadium last night.
everyone left the stadium in a jovial mood after singapore's emphatic win.
jeering every jordan's touch of the ball plus cheering every singapore's attack on the jordan goal.
it was reaaally fun, i can tell you.
for those who watched it on channel 27, did you see my face on tv? hehe.
pictures at the bottom.

2) M'sia Trip.
yet again.
leaving on friday afternoon and only returning on saturday night i guess.
so DO NOT call or sms me.
but this time's a special one.
oooh.

Messed Up.

1st update in about.. 6 days?
well, i won't be in singapore from 25jan to 27jan.
a trip to malaysia doesn't really sound ideal to me.
especially when i'm gonna miss out on the 'oh-so-heavenly' beefball noodles in JB.
those cooks and staff there have to take a break during CNY anyway.

interested in SINGAPORE vs JORDAN on 28jan?
held at national stadium, 7.30pm kick off time.
it ain't a friendly match, it's an asian cup qualifier.
i will be going with a couple of friends so if you wanna tag along...
do let me know. =D

start of WORK on 29th.
still yet to learn the trade there.
lessons on the first day would settle it nicely.

it also seems to be REALLY windy the past few days, isn't it?

Am I Talking To Myself?

this post has been edited.

i'm probably the first person in national exams' history books to get a straight flush of TWO's.
i'm contented. my worst fears weren't realised. that's a fact though.
the ordeal is over. F&N and Humanities were not justified well enough. But Maths was a gift totally. and top-scorers aren't human at all.
four days to decide my future.

OMG. please read this post again.
people have been saying i got a flush of A2s.
unfortunately, that WASN'T the case.
and i don't wish to reveal my results either.

Your BALLS.

TAKEN FROM STOMP
Description: -This picture was taken at a golf club on the outskirts of Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
-I was amused to read this notice near the gate of the golf club and wondered if they meant it figuratively or literally which is tantamount to a mutilation of the body.
-Many female passers-by who saw this sauntered by without batting an eyelid but for the male passersby they could not but emit a giggle and a smile.
-Some Singaporeans who saw this could not suppress their loud guffaws."

this signboard over here seriously left me LOL-ing.

and it's TOMORROW!
i don't even think i have the appetite to sleep tonight.

Team O08' 8-2 Unity All-Stars

THIS POST HAS BEEN EDITED.

WARNING
it's gonna be an all-soccer post this time round.
so to non-soccer fans reading this blog, ''Hope you don't mind''.

it was a complete thrashing yet again.
goals from Fadli, Haiman, Hidayat(2), Siddiq, Ameen and me(2) secured yet another inevitable win.

with last year's 7-0 victory in mind, this year's opponents showed much grit and determination compared to their last year's counterparts.
i couldn't remember the exact sequence in which the goals were scored..
so pardon me if i missed out your name or something. (blame my memory!)

MATCH REPORT.
first half
- In the early stage of the game, our mean defence which consisted of Ameen, Clement, Tirmizi and Radin gave Unity All-Stars absolutely no chance to shoot at our goal at all.
- Haiman's persistance in getting past those no-nonsense defenders in the opponents' team down our left flank was rewarded. He sent in an inch-perfect cross which found Fadli, leaving him the simple task of sliding the ball home. 1-0 to the eventual victors!
- We were dominating possesion at this point of time. But a lack of concentration from us lead to them bringing the game back on level terms. 1-1.
- Disappointed at the scoreline, we trudged down the field for our 15mins of not-so-well deserved break.
second half
- A turn in the story yet again as the other team argued for a penalty and it was duly given. I was quite a distance away and did not manage to catch a good eye of it but it seems to be a handball by Clement.
- Perhaps due to the pressure put onto him by his teammates, Fauzi(opponent) put the penalty high and wide, leaving Ahmad with basically nothing to do but to stare at the ball going past him and hitting the fence right behind him. What a scare for us!
- A counterattack left me and Haiman facing just two defenders and the keeper. Haiman's goalbound shot took a huge deflection off the defender. The ball fell kindly right into my path with my back facing the goal. With a not-so-good first touch, the ball spun away from me, albeit just about a metre away. Still, with a deft left-footed shot, i managed to put the ball past the keeper and put us straight back into the driving seat. 2-1!
- In the last goal of the game, Alfi sent a whipping corner which missed almost the entire bunch of people in the penalty box. However, with the ball almost losing all its energy and prepares itself to hit the ground, i stooped low and send a header right into the left side of the goal. It was already 8-2 by then.

hmm. okay.
that's almost all that i could remember.
it was a job well done, guys!
the good thing was everyone in the team participated in the game and gave their all.
stick together as a team as we prepare for another crunching game coming soon.
vs Kallangroar FC.
date not comfirmed though.
Good Luck for 'O' results' day and hope you guys go to the school you truly want!
bye~
